Kendra Kimlinger

Welcome to Room 133!

Hello, my name is Kendra Kimlinger and I am teaching 4th and 5th grade SPEN this year at Whittier. I am looking forward to working with all of the wonderful Whittier staff and families, and cannot wait to watch my students progress through the year on their educational journey.

I love teaching and have a passion for helping students reach their potential. I started working in the education field eight years ago, working as a support staff and knew immediately I was in the right place. I received my Bachelors degree from Metropolitan State University and am currently pursuing a Masters Degree from Mankato State University in Special Education with an emphasis in Emotional Behavioral Disorders.

When I am not teaching or attending school myself I like to spend my time with my family.  Between biking, swimming, snowboarding, and watching my son play football and basketball I stay busy. Someday I hope to travel and would love to get the opportunity to teach in other countries around the world. I have found that every year I end up learning just as much from my students as they learn from me, and I hope this year is no different!
