My name is Lydia Johnson and I am so happy to be here at Whittier International! A little about me, I graduated in 2020 with my B.S. in Teaching and minor studies in Child Advocacy Studies from Winona State University. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and I grew up in a family of them, my mom teaches Special Education and my older sister teaches middle school English. I believe in relationships first; I strive to build a strong lasting relationship with all of my students. I want my students to know that they can come to me with anything. I have high expectations in my class because I want everybody to try their best because I believe in their best. When not teaching, I love to play with my dog Grey and I love to shop for cute clothes! I also love to read and I hope to instill that love for reading into my students.
If you need to contact me, my email is lydia.johnson@mpls.k12.mn.us!
